The initiative includes the expansion of the Startup 405's incubator, including coworking space, event space, and a cafe' all housed within a newly acquired 18,000-square-foot building in downtown Norman. This exciting venture, announced by the Cleveland County Economic Development Corporation (NEDC) upon its acquisition of the former Copelins Office Supply building in 2023, is set to invigorate downtown Norman and catalyze a new era of innovation.

The choice of the former Copelins Office Supply building, located conveniently across the street from NEDC's corporate headquarters, reflects a thoughtful and strategic decision. The almost 18,000 square feet of space provide an ample canvas for Startup 405's vision of creating a centralized hub for entrepreneurial endeavors.
