Comprehensive Center to Open July 2026

In a strategic move that promises to reshape the County's entrepreneurial landscape, the Cleveland County Economic Development Coalition has unveiled plans for a transformative expansion of the Startup 405 State Certified Business Incubator. The new center includes a larger, more robust incubator, coworking space, education and event space, an accelerator fund, venture capital, and advisory services, all housed within an 18,000-square-foot building in downtown Norman. This exciting venture is set to invigorate downtown Norman and catalyze a new era of innovation.

The choice of the former Copelins Office Supply building, located conveniently across the street from CCEDC's corporate headquarters, reflects a thoughtful and strategic decision. The 18,500 square feet of space provides an ample canvas for CCEDC's vision of creating a centralized hub for entrepreneurial endeavors. This prime location in downtown Norman positions the expansion as a focal point for local businesses and entrepreneurs throughout Cleveland County.

Central to this initiative is the Startup 405 incubator, a dedicated space designed to nurture the growth of fledgling businesses. With access to cutting-edge resources, seasoned mentors, access to seed and venture capital, and a collaborative environment, this incubator sets the stage for startups to thrive. The integration of state-of-the-art facilities ensures that entrepreneurs receive the support they need to transform their innovative ideas into successful ventures.

Recognizing the evolving nature of entrepreneurial work, the Centerfor Entrepreneurship and Innovation features a contemporary coworking space.
